Why sit a 11+ Mock Exam?
Why is it free?
You may feel concerned about adding pressure onto your child by entering them into mock exams, however the 11 plus is different to what children have experienced through exams at school. It is vital that children become familiar with not only the format, but the type of content and atmosphere at these events.
The papers are designed to reflect the various examination styles used at 11 plus. TMS 11 plus mock exams give you the opportunity to assess two things - the first is to identify your child's strengths and weaknesses. It's always useful to get an independent view of your child's abilities to gain an idea of how capable they are for the 11 plus and how much work will be required to get there.
Our 11+ exams also indicate how likely your child is to succeed in the real entrance test. We use past statistics to give you data relating to your child's score; TMS's confidential ranking reports also place your child's result in relation to everyone else who sat the same exam. This enables you to identify their placement amongst children who will also very likely be sitting the 11 plus entrance exam in your area.
Our vision is that there will be “No child left behind.”
We want to give children help at the times when they especially need support - such as directly before end of year school exams, or entrance tests for selective schools.
Your child's success should begin with a free, no-obligation educational assessment. This shows how well he/she is coping with school work, taking into account his/her age and national curriculum targets. The assessment sets the starting level and scope of your child's individual development programme.
All mock test centres charge considerably for 11 plus testing, for instance Chuckra charge £70 (including VAT) per mock exam session.
